TCN Property Projects (TCN) will launch a new concept for multimedia and urban entertainment in Schiedam, the Netherlands. The construction of this Urban Entertainment Center (UEC), with a total size of 40,000 m², will start in 2008. The official opening is planned for 2010.
The Urban Entertainment Center is the prime Rotterdam regional location for urban entertainment. The central theme will be multimedia. UEC Schiedam combines retail in the multimedia and electronics segments with leisure and food & beverage establishments.
The UEC aims to be the booming heart of urban entertainment and multimedia in the Netherlands. This calls for a distinctive center, consisting of maximize multimedia, unique combination of functions and spectacular staging of events.
The UEC's cinema, gaming & pinball center, catering and fitness facilities and retail are chock-full of the latest multimedia applications. This clustering of leisure facilities, retail trade and catering within a multimedia set-up is what makes the UEC unique. It is precisely such a combination of functions that gives the complex its strong appeal.
The location's diverse offer makes it an interesting place to stay for all the family, thus ensuring a broad base of potential customers. This combination of functions is unique within the Netherlands.
