Tapiolan Lampo sold its €22m office property to JM Suomi Oy (FI)

Tapiolan Lampo has signed a deed of sale for the sale of its office properties in Maarinsolmu, Espoo, to JM Suomi Oy and LahiTapiola Tontit II Ky. The property houses the company's main office and the large depot complex of the maintenance business. The management and ownership of the property will be transferred, and the purchase price will be paid during the last quarter of 2024. The transaction amount is c. €22m.

"Transferring our pit operations to an environment designed for industrial activity and correspondingly freeing up a plot of land located next to excellent public transport links for residential construction is also positive from the point of view of community planning and the environment", Toni Santalahti, chairman of the board of Tapiolan Lampo.

The sale of the property located at the intersection of Maarinsolmu in Pohjois Tapiola was preceded by a plan change that allowed housing to be built on the plot. Tapiolan Lampo will move its operations to new premises in 2024.

"We have been preparing our transition for a long time in order to ensure the smoothness of business despite the changes. The moving project is huge and we will be moving to new premises in stages next year. We will tell you more about this later," said the company's CEO Karel Nieminen.

Tapiolan Lammo was advised by Ecorum Oy in the transaction.
