STRABAG PFS will perform all Facility management for another German federal ministry

STRABAG Property and Facility Services will be performing all technical facility management services for the headquarters of the German Federal Ministry of Justice and Consumer Protection in Mohrenstrasse, Berlin, for at least another five years from 1 August 2015. In addition to maintenance and optional repair of all technical building facilities and a 24-hour callout service, the work also involves technical support of major events.
STRABAG PFS has been providing technical facility management for the property, which is made up of four sections with a total usable area of around 47,000 m² and contains several conference and meeting rooms, since 1999. The real-estate and industrial service provider prevailed at the end of February in a call for bids by the German Federal Institute for Real Estate , which acts as the federal government’s property service provider for the government department. The parties have agreed not to disclose the order volume.
In recent weeks, the BImA has already commissioned STRABAG PFS with technical facility management for the German Federal Ministry of Food and Agriculture and the German Federal Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs.
