Colliers International has announced the appointment of Stephen Connor as Head of the Valuation and Advisory department in Czech Republic starting from June 2011.

Connor will be re-locating from Colliers' Warsaw office to take up a new position in the Czech Republic. All existing valuation team members in the Czech Republic will remain in place and this appointment marks an expansion of Colliers' valuation team within this important market.
Connor said of his appointment "After three very enjoyable years working with the Polish valuation team, I am looking forward to working in Prague, both with the existing valuation team, and the new management, to grow Colliers' business in that market."
Connor worked in the public sector in his native Scotland for 12 years, during which time he qualified as a chartered surveyor (MRICS) in 1999. His work in this field involved the provision of valuations for a full range of property types for the purposes of taxation. He joined Colliers in Poland in 2008, to provide valuation services for their international clients, and to ensure that reports are produced to the high standard which clients expect. In April 2010 he was promoted to the position of Director of Valuation, Poland.
Whilst serving some of the biggest players on the Polish market, Connor has also been involved in the co-ordination of cross-border valuations in conjunction with Colliers' other offices within the CEE region and this appointment will further strengthen Colliers' regional capability.
