Stefan H. Brendgen is to join the management of Allianz Immobilien GmbH as the new Chief Investment Officer with effect from 15 January 2009.

Brendgen is to take up his new position by 31.03.2009 and will then become the chairman of the company management. Karl Ralf Jung will continue to be CEO of Allianz Immobilien GmbH until Brendgen takes up his office.
Jung is at the same time the chairman of the management of Allianz Alternative Assets Holding, to which the real estate business of Allianz is allocated. He took over the position of CEO at Allianz Immobilien GmbH a year ago and will concentrate on his primary tasks again from the 2nd quarter in 2009 onwards.
York von Pannwitz will likewise continue to be a board member at Allianz Immobilien GmbH and remains responsible for the Asset Management department.
Before joining Allianz, Stefan Brendgen worked as managing director and manager of the German business of the project developer Tishman Speyer.
