State wants to sell a minority stake in Schiphol Group

The State wants to sell a minority stake in the Schiphol Group at a more Â'appropriate timeÂ', according to the Budget of the Ministry of Transport, Public Works and Water Management. The present climate at the stock market however, will delay any immediate divestments.

The Dutch state owns 75.8% of the Schiphol Group. The size of the divestment is yet unclear as well as the expected proceeeds. The proceedswill be used to finance investments in road and rail infrastructure.
