Sponda Real Estate Fund I Ky has signed an agreement with Fenestra Oy to build a window factory in Forssa. The total investment in building the factory will be some €16 million. The factory will have a lettable area of about 19,000 m².
Fenestra's objective is to concentrate window assembly operations in Forssa and to improve logistics efficiency in the windows business. The factory is being built on a plot of land that is being purchased from the town of Forssa and is located in the Ratasmäki business park. The factory will be ready for production operations at the beginning of 2008.
