SPAR Spain member Fragadis has opened a new store in June and reopened three existing stores following extensive renovations in the eastern part of the country. The three refurbished stores feature state-of-the-art facilities and assortments tailored to local preferences.
With a sales area of over 1,300m², the new EUROSPAR Supermarket in the municipality of Alcoletge, Lerida, offers a comfortable shopping experience in a modern and attractive interior. The EUROSPAR store is run by 16 team members, familiar with local tastes and preferences. The store has a wide assortment of A-brands, in addition to the well-known SPAR Own Brand products. The store has a wide assortment of organic and gluten-free products. Beyond the extensive offer of fresh fruit and vegetables and freshly baked bread and pastries, the store has a traditional butchery, a fishmonger’s, and a delicatessen counter.
Fragadis has also reopened three stores – a 1,300m² SPAR store in the town of Vinaroz, Castellón, a 675m² SPAR store in the Tarragona municipality of El Vendrel, and a 500m² store in Villajoyosa, Alicante. The three stores have incorporated energy-efficient refrigeration equipment and LED lighting. The SPAR Supermarket in Vinaroz is a modern neighbourhood supermarket, with a wide assortment of top brands and SPAR Own Brand products, as well as many fresh products offered in a self-service format. The store is run by a team of 12, who are familiar with local tastes. A complete aesthetic renovation has been carried out, adapting the store to the latest communication trends, through the installation of thematic and informative screens in strategic points of the store, which show recipes and practical information.
All sections of the modern neighbourhood supermarket in El Vendrel offer a wide assortment of top brands and SPAR Own Brand items with a notable presence of fresh products in a self-service format. The store is run by a team of 10 employees from the area, knowledgeable about local preferences. The supermarket in Villajoyosa reopened at the end of June, making available all the sections of a modern proximity store. The wide assortment of A-brands, SPAR Own Brands, and fresh produce in the self-service format are complemented by a butchery, delicatessen counter, and seafood section. Nine employees guarantee the best possible attention to customers.
