Sophia has acquired a block of Paris office buildings from Crédit Lyonnais

Sophia has acquired a block of Paris office buildings from Crédit Lyonnais in the financial district of the capital for nearly M€ 175.

At the end of December 2002, Sophia agreed to acquire a block of three office buildings representing more than 35,000 m² located in Paris 2nd arrondissement, bounded by rue Richelieu, rue Ménars, rue Grétry and rue Gramont. A firm nine year lease was granded to the Crédit Lyonnais.

Rémy Gancel, Sophia’s Chairman and Chief Executive, stated: « This substantial transaction illustrates Sophia’s capacity to deal with the ever increasing number of companies wanting to hive off their property holdings, by proposing solutions suited to their requirements.
