Social media expert Euan Semple has been announced as the first confirmed keynote speaker at this year's CoreNet Global EMEA Summit, which takes place in Paris September 18-20 , and takes the theme 'Social Dynamics: Connectivity, Creativity, Relationships'.
The former senior BBC employee, who is credited as one of the pioneers who introduced social media networking and communication tools at the broadcaster 10 years ago, will address the Summit on the effective use of such tools in the workplace, exploring how the world's largest and most successful organizations are integrating such technologies and transforming the ways in which businesses is done.
During his presentation, 'Culture Connect: Social Media and the World of Work' Semple will focus on how these tools can transform the way in which we think about organizations and commerce, overviewing both the successes and mistakes made as brands come to terms with this new relationship with their constituents and markets.
This year's annual CoreNet Global EMEA Summit has taken as its inspiration the global social change that has led people to connect across cultures and continents on both a personal and corporate level, using new tools to form new alliances and expand their reach. The event will explore how the world's 'connected culture' continues to evolve, and focus on the tools, knowledge and skills that Corporate Real Estate (CRE) professionals will need to keep pace with such change, across the c-suite, partners, clients, locations and the workplace.
