Slough Trading Estate launches new industrial scheme in south east London (UK)

Slough Trading Estate has launched a new development comprising four industrial units at 99-103a Farnham Road. The new development fronts the A355 (Farnham Road), and is in one of the most accessible locations in the South East, with routes to the M4, M40, M25 and Heathrow airport all nearby.

All four new units benefit from allocated parking spaces; excellent loading and unloading facilities, including electrically operated up and over loading doors; and a minimum of 6 metre high eaves. Two of the units, which vary in size from 3,315 – 19,257 sq ft, also feature a mezzanine level.

The development overlooks the existing Farnham Road Trade Park, which has proved to be a resounding success, with occupiers including Kwik Fit, Topps Tiles and Bathstore.com.

The buildings have permission for light industrial, general industrial and warehouse uses. They will be monitored by the trading estate's award winning security system, including 24hr CCTV coverage and security patrols.

"Our on-going process of redevelopment and refurbishment ensures that the Slough Trading Estate can meet the accommodation requirements of companies of all shapes and size. One of the great strengths of the Trading Estate is the mutual support that occupiers enjoy, and I am sure that the close proximity of operators such as Bathstore.com and Topps Tiles will offer real benefits," commented Stephen Bailey, regional director of Slough Trading Estate.

Some of the world's most successful companies already operate at the Trading Estate, including Ferrari Maserati, Fiat Auto (UK) Limited, Black & Decker, Fujitsu, GE Medical, LG and O2. A diverse range of sectors are represented on the estate, with a particular concentration of businesses working in the automotive; biotechnology; logistics and electronics fields.
