Slough Estates will this week be unveiling its latest phase of development at Farnborough Business Park. Representing an investment of €40 million, the completion of this phase sees Slough Estates delivering more than 110,000 sq ft of prime office space at the very heart of the Park.
At 125 acres, Farnborough Business Park is one of the prime business parks in the South East of England and has been master planned to deliver 1.67m sq ft of office and R&D accommodation. In response to a steadily increasing demand for Grade A office space outside of London, Slough Estates has launched two major new headquarters office buildings at 200 and 250 Fowler Avenue, as well as a mixed use building known as The Hub.
200 Fowler Avenue, the larger of the two buildings, offers 41,570 sq ft of space with a maximum floor plate of 11,000 sq ft. The adjacent 250 Fowler Avenue extends to 35,510 sq ft, with floor plates ranging from 7,230 sq ft to 9,460 sq ft. Both four-storey buildings have been designed with flexibility of space in mind and can accommodate self contained offices with floor plans that can be adapted to meet an occupier's specific requirements.
The Hub is a refurbished building providing a range of facilities for both occupiers and visitors. It is a vibrant, mixed-use development located at the centre of the Park and is intended to become a focal point for occupiers throughout the site.
The Hub offers office suites from 840 sq ft to 3,200 sq ft as well as a number of other amenities, including a café/bar known as Avaitors, which includes a Starbucks coffee shop; a business centre with conference and meeting room facilities; the Marketing Suite, which houses Park Management and Security; and a Heritage Visitor Centre known as The Secret Factory.
Farnborough Business Park's unique location means that it is set to become one of the UK's pre-eminent business destinations. Unrivalled access to national and international transport networks makes it an ideal relocation choice, as it lies less than an hour away from Heathrow and Gatwick airports, within close proximity of the M3 and M25 and easy reach of London Waterloo.
Key to the Parks popularity is its location next to Farnborough International Airport. Operated by TAG Aviation, this is the largest private airport in Europe and provides flights to worldwide destinations where customers can be airborne with 40 minutes of making a booking.
