Slough Estates International has announced the appointment of Lesley MacDonagh, currently a Director at Lovells, one of the largest business law firms, as a Non-Executive Director on the Board of Slough Estates plc. and of Walter Hens, Slough Estates International's Managing Director, Continental Europe, to the main Board as an Executive Director. Both changes take effect on 1st January 2007.
Chairman Nigel Rich commented: "I am delighted to welcome Lesley MacDonagh to the Board. As Slough enters the REIT arena and continues its European expansion, Lesley MacDonagh's expertise in property law, and experience in leading Lovells into Europe will be very valuable to the Board.
"I am also very pleased to announce that after seventeen years with the company, Walter Hens is joining the Board as an Executive Director he has made a major contribution to the development of our Continental European business and in particular to its recent successful performance. His commercial and transaction skills will be particularly important to the Board as we continue with the expansion programme.
These appointments bring further international strength and depth to the management platform on which we are building the business."
