Skanska Property Poland-Green Corner

Completion is scheduled for December 2012.

This green office project will offer excellent access to public transportation, including the currently built new line of Warsaw underground. Total leasable space in building B will amount to 13,000 m².

Construction works on this seven-story complex started in February 2011 and its completion is scheduled for December 2012. The building has been LEED pre-certified with the highest Platinum rating.

Skanska has also signed two first lease contracts for office space in building A of the Green Corner complex, developed at the corner of Wronia and Chùodna Streets. The first of the tenants will take up 7,000 m², whereas the other will occupy 300 m², where a canteen is to be set up.

The Green Corner office project is being built according to the principles of sustainable development. Innovative technologies implemented during its construction will minimise the building's impact on natural environment and significantly reduce its operating costs, which in turn will result in savings for tenants.

Green solutions applied include energy-efficient lighting system, photovoltaic panels used to produce electric energy, utilization of so-called grey water to reduce drinking water consumption and air-conditioning based on chilled beams.

Additionally, cyclists will have an underground parking lot with showers and changing rooms and power supply points for electric cars will be provided.

These modern technologies translate not only into financial benefits for tenants, but also comfortable working environment having a positive effect on the well-being and productivity of the green building's users.
