The Green Towers complex is being developed in accordance with the principles of sustainable development.

Like all other Skanska's office buildings, the Green Towers complex is being developed in accordance with the principles of sustainable development and will be LEED certified. The total area of the green scheme amounts to 23,300 m². Building B is due to be completed at the turn of 2012 and 2013.

"EY Global Services is relocating its operations in Wroclaw, where the company's European shared service hub is based, from Grunwaldzki Center, where we had our offices since April 2011. Relocating to Green Towers is a good strategic move for us.

"The building will provide us with the necessary flexibility for expansion and growth, and a brand new working environment with improved amenities. It is also important for Ernst & Young to be located in an office that meets new green standards," said Dariusz Sus, Chief Operating Officer, EY Global Services.

During the construction process of Green Towers a number of innovative technologies have been implemented, which will not only reduce the building's operating costs, but will also ensure comfortable working conditions for tenants. These include energy efficient lighting system, adiabatic air humidifiers, as well as efficient air-conditioning based on fan-coils equipped with energy-saving engines.

Additionally, parking space for bicycles, as well as changing rooms and showers will be available to cyclists. Skanska Property Poland recently signed contracts with TAURON, as a result of which energy from renewable resources will be supplied to the building, and with STENA, which will be responsible for waste collection and disposal in Green Towers.

"Relocation to a new building is the consequence of dynamic development of the web services of Allegro Group. We are happy that from now on Ceneo.pl, Bankier.pl and MojeAuto.pl will have their headquarters in the same place. Previously, each of the companies had its offices in different parts of Wroclaw. Working in one building facilitates integration of our teams and further improves coordination of our operations.

"In 2008 Allegro Group established the All For Planet foundation. Its aim is to raise ecological awareness among our employees and to promote environment friendly attitudes. Striving to maintain high environmental standards is an important part of the activity of Allegro Group. This is one of the reasons why we have selected a building which has so many green solutions," said Joanna Bilinska, Sales, Marketing and Business Support Director at Ceneo.pl.

The aim of Skanska Property Poland is not only to deliver top quality office space to its tenants, but also to highlight the benefits of working in green buildings and encourage fu
