The biggest shopping and entertainment complex in Ukraine Respublika was presented on the international retail real estate exhibition MAPIC 2012, which took place in Cannes between 14 and 16 November.
The investor of the project, MEGAPOLISZHYTLOBUD; developer, KAN Development and broker, Ukrainian Trade Guild (UTG) announced project opening at the event.
The team of shopping and entertainment center presented the project with an attractive maquette of 4.5x² meters that was of great interest among the MAPIC visitors.
The Cannes government executive and Austrian cinematographers were interested in Respublika stand.
Thierry Martin, Auchan Group International Development and Partnership Director, held a presentation together with Respublika project representatives, which was attended by more than 60 guests.
Agreements with well-known world brands such as Decathlon, Debenhams, Kiabi, Subway, LIUJO, LCWaikiki were reached during the exhibition. Meetings with representatives of 120 chains and brands took place. It is planned to open the biggest shopping gallery at the shopping and entertainment center with more than 450 shops where 30% of the brands will be new for Ukrain. Representatives of big commercial brands evaluated the project as the most perspective in terms of its size and unique concept within the coming 5 years.
Respublika shopping and entertainment center (GBA 295 000 m², GLA 135 000 m²) will be a part of the cognominal multifunctional complex of 1,625 million m² gross area.
Opening of the center is scheduled for 2014.
