Shell International and Shell Real Estate Services (SRES) have selected Jones Lang LaSalle to serve as their real estate consulting partner across the globe. This follows an extensive global procurement process in which an eRFI was used to review the detailed capabilities of some 38 real estate advisors and management consultants.
The selection process allowed rapid analysis of a large amount of data to determine a short list of potential providers. Mike Napier, Chief Executive of SRES, commented on Shell´s decision. 'We have selected Jones Lang LaSalle because of their proven track record in devising solutions that align corporate real estate with business needs, applying a consulting and advisory focus. Their experience based upon a ´one company, global platform,´ was also a deciding factor.'
Richard McBlaine, President of Strategic Consulting at Jones Lang LaSalle, said: 'We are delighted to be selected as Shell´s partner. This assignment underscores the growing trend of global corporations increasingly utilizing sophisticated approaches to manage their real estate portfolios. The goal is to unlock tremendous value, improve flexibility and better align real estate portfolios with overarching business objectives.'
