SES to manage new shopping centre in Croatia’s second largest city (HR)

SES Spar European Shopping Centers will manage the new shopping centre Mall of Split in Croatia’s second largest city, Split, from autumn 2015. The Croatian owner Mejaši prvi d.o.o. commissioned SES with the flagship project’s centre management. The agreements were signed in late May. The centre is currently being built and will open this autumn.
With a leasable area of over 60,000 m² and more than 200 shops, the mega complex is now the largest shopping centre in SES’s management portfolio in six countries. In addition to its own locations, SES also manages shopping centers in Austria, Slovenia, Northern Italy, and Hungary.   The Mall of Split is currently being built at an entrance to the City of Split and is located in one of the coastal city’s most important hubs. The centre is conveniently reachable via 11 bus routes and easy access to the A1 highway. The city centre is 10 minutes away by car.
Its prominent anchor tenants include Interspar, Zara, Massimo Dutti, Zara Home, Stradivarius, a dm drugstore, Debenhams, among others. The shop mix is an answer to heavy demand for international brands and the increasing importance of gastronomic diversity.
