ULI's program of work is centred on five priority areas: housing, infrastructure, sustainability, capital markets and public leadership, and it tailors a variety of programs, products and services to reflect these areas of focus.

The ULI Russia district council is part of the ULI, a global non-profit research and education institute dedicated to responsible land use. ULI, established in 1936, has offices in the United States, Europe and Asia, and serves 34,000 members worldwide. The organization's membership is interdisciplinary, including developers, investors, lenders, financiers, engineers, urban planners, architects, urban designers, academics and public officials.

ULI Russia serves nearly 60 members in Russia. Speaking of his appointment, Riabokobylko said "I'm enthusiastic about expanding the ULI Russia activities through engaging market professionals in focused programs aimed at solving obvious needs of our developing cities and regions. These programs will benefit from the global resources and expertise resident in the ULI organisation."

ULI Russia is one of more than 60 ULI district councils located in North America, Europe, and Asia. According to ULI Europe President, William Kistler, the Institute's great strength is its ability to be effective both locally and globally.

"I am delighted to welcome Sergey Riabokobylko as Chair of ULI Russia," Kistler said. "The ULI Europe team looks forward to working with Sergey.
