Savills has won a sole agency mandate from Milanofiori 2000 srl, Gruppo Brioschi Finanziaria, to lease its flagship retail park in the comune of Assago, southern Milan. The project will comprise 6 âbig boxâ retail units from 3.000 to 18.000 sqm and will amount to some 41.000 sqm in total built area.
The Retail park is part of a much larger mixed-use project. Other uses include:- circa 118.000 m² dedicated to tertiary uses, 15.000 m² of residential, 7.000 m² of serviced appartments, 10.000 m² of retail (small and medium surfaces), 20.000 m² of leisure (multiplex cinema, health & fitness, restoration).
The project will be served by the ATM Metro (green line). Works have already begun on the new "Milano Fiori Nord" station with completion expected by the end of 2006.
Phase 1 of the project includes the retail park, 2 office buildings adjacent to the Metro station, the "piazza" (small and medium surface retail units) with multiplex and some residential.
The first phase is scheduled for completion in December 2007.
