Sale of office building at UP-site project (BE)

Atenor Group has reached an agreement on the sale of the 'UP36' building, one of the four office buildings in the UP-site project, to PMV (ParticipatieMaatschappij Vlaanderen NV). The building will accommodate the services of GO! Onderwijs van de Vlaamse Gemeenschap.

This building totals 6,189 m² of office space, 374 m² of archives and 31 parking spaces.

The transaction will contribute to the results of Atenor Group as from the first half of 2012. This new sale confirms the commercial attractiveness of the UP‐site project in an otherwise very bleak market.

To date, three buildings have found takers (whether by virtue of a sale or a lease) more than a year before delivery.

The building meets the highest environmental standards and is part of a mixed-use project which also contains 357 apartments (including the emblematic UP‐site tower) and 1,600 m² of commercial property.

The marketing of the residential tower, which started on February 29, 2012, has also been a major success, since more than 40% of the apartments have already been sold or reserved two years before their delivery.

PMV is a Flemish investment company. It finances promising entrepreneurs from the very start through the growth and to the internationalization of their business. It also invests in large infrastructure projects. Its focus lies on the sustainable economic development of Flanders, with demonstrable added value for both economy and society.
