Gasiev has identified improving the level of professionalism in the industry and creating a common information space to enable the sharing of experience among market players as priority tasks for the RCSC.

Maxim Gasiev, Managing Director, Colliers International: "RCSC, as a trade body, should become a source of knowledge and experience for all players in the retail property market. Since the industry in Russia is relatively new, retail property specialists must improve their professional level, which will contribute to achieving better quality and professionalism for the country's shopping centers. The second task that the RCSC faces is creating a common information space to facilitate communication and finding business contacts for investors, developers, bankers, retailers, consultants, contractors and other players.

"In the near future, we will create a program of events open to participation by the RCSC members. We are planning to conduct workshops with globally recognized professionals, organize property tours, relaunch the professional development school, participate actively in the MAPIC trade show, etc."
