At a hearing today of the Enterprise Chamber of the Amsterdam Court of Appeal, the Court ruled from the bench that the Extraordinary General Meeting (EGM) of Rodamco North America NV (RNA) scheduled for March 25 may proceed.
The meeting has been called to seek shareholder approval for the sale of RNAÂ's assets to Westfield America Trust, Simon Property Group and The Rouse Company.
The Court also said that it would rule on all other matters at 2pm on Friday, March 22 in order to allow shareholders to make an informed decision ay MondayÂ's EGM.
Mr Gerald Egan, Chairman of RNAÂ's management board, said: 'We welcome this decision. I urge all shareholders who want to attend next MondayÂ's EGM to register as soon as possible. Wednesday is the last day shareholders who want to vote can register for the meeting.'
