Yesterday it as announced that the Dutch real estate investors have chosen Rodamco Europe N.V. as Real Estate Investor of the year 2003, this in scope of the Dutch activities. The related award is the ââ¬ËGouden Baksteenââ¬â¢ (Golden Brick) which was handed to Mrs. C. Rombouts RA, deputy director of the Dutch subsidiary of Rodamco Europe. This presentation was held during the 12th Troostwijk real estate symposium at the Kurhaus in Scheveningen (The Hague).
Troostwijk created the award in 2001 with reference to the 10-year existence of the Real Estate Investment series, a series of science research into the real estate investment policy of the Dutch large institutional investors and real estate funds. According to ing. M.A. Snijders, director of Troostwijk Makelaars O.G., the large interest from the sector and education facilities affirms the value of periodical scientific research. Besides that the Dutch investors also deserve compliments for the high returns that have been made over the last years and the contribution which has been made to the sectorââ¬â¢s professionalism.
Rodamco Europe N.V. is a real estate investment company noted on the Euronext Stock Exchange in Amsterdam. Rodamco EuropeN.V. invests in commercial real estate with an emphasis on retail. The Dutch investors have particularly given their vote to Rodamco Europe N.V. because of their appreciation for the restructuring of the Dutch portfolio over the last years by the team led by director Henk Postma.
