Robert Mayhew MRICS, Director within Jones Lang LaSalle's Valuation Advisory team, based in London, has been appointed a Non-Executive Member of the RICS Europe World Regional Board.
Liliane Van Cauwenbergh, Managing Director RICS EMEA, and RICS Europe Executive Board member, added: "RICS Europe is very pleased that Robert applied to serve for a second term on the RICS Europe Board. With his in-depth knowledge of the pan-European valuation market, and his previous experience working in Hungary, Poland and Russia, Robert brings a wealth of strategic knowledge and experience to the newly composed RICS Europe Board."
The main purpose of the Europe World Regional Board is to propose the European business plan to the RICS Management Board and deliver the agreed RICS strategy at regional level by overseeing plans and allocating resources to the National Groups within that region. The Board meets three times per year to discuss the European strategy, monitor progress against plan and discuss member growth and retention activities.
Robert's appointment is his second consecutive term and is also in addition to his serving on the RICS Russia & CIS Board between 2007 and 2010. Having worked in pan-European valuation for the past 10 years, Robert is well placed to contribute to ensuring RICS' strategic goals across Europe are achieved.
