RLI Investors, acting on behalf of Hoppegarten Investment Sarl, has acquired a logistics park from Hoppegarten Park Property GmbH & Co. The purchase price is c.€70m. The asset compromises a planned development of around 30,000 m². The transaction is one of the major deals during the recent twelve months in the Berlin area.
The logistics park is located in the emerging logistics region near Berlin and consists of five logistics properties and an office building. The asset comprises a total of around 70,000 m² of storage space and c.5,000 m² of office space. The properties are nearly fully let. The main tenants are the logistics service provider Rhenus and the department store chain Kaufhof.
In addition to high quality and construction standards as well as the attractive expansion options, the logistics park is characterized by excellent transport connections via the adjacent B1 to the Berlin Ring (A10), which is just five kilometres away.
