Stag Brewery Scheme

The controversial Stag Brewery scheme was previously rejected by the London Major, however, the revised plans to redevelop a former brewery site on the Thames to provide 667 homes have been approved by London’s Richmond Council

The latest plan also includes the new state-of-the-art school for 1,200 pupils with a flood-lit all-weather sports pitch and an internal multi use game area for activities such as netball which will be open to residents in the community outside of normal school hours; a new 3G pitch and changing room facilities at the school which Barnes Eagles Football Club will have access to; new local sports facilities including the creation of a new rowing club with direct river access?and outreach to local schools; a 350 seat multi-screen cinema to drive a lively evening economy at this new riverside leisure destination.

The 89,000m2 historic former Stag Brewery site on the south bank of the Thames at Mortlake is being brought forward by Dartmouth Capital Partners. The architects for the project are Squire and Partners. Reselton Properties are the team behind the brownfield regeneration.
