The 19th annual MIPIM event, held in southern France in the coastal town of Cannes, was another stunning success. This year MIPIM was more global than ever, and walking around the crowded maze of booths it was easy to lose track of what country we were in, as delegates from 83 countries streamed in to participate in the year's most prestigious real estate exhibition. There where 2,666 exhibiting companies and 6,119 companies whitout a stand which makes a total of 8,785 companies present at Mipim. The Russian presence was the largest yet, and there were also large exhibition booths from areas as diverse as Canada, South Africa, Brazil, Singapore, and the United Arab Emirates, to name just a few. This year also saw a significant rise in the presence of the Hospitality and Leisure industry.
