Redevco Central Europe purchases two retail properties in Austria for €12 million from Akron Group.
One of the purchases is located in the north of Vienna, in the much-frequented retail warehouse park of Langenzersdorf, and is situated next to Metro and Leiner. The second acquisition is south of Vienna, in the shopping centre area of Fischapark in Wiener Neustadt. Both properties, which offer about 12,000 m²., are currently leased on a long-term basis to Quester Baustoffhandel GmbH, one of Austria's largest builders merchants.
"With the purchase of these two properties in Vienna and its immediate vicinity, Redevco continues to invest in Austrian retail real estate and to pursue its strategy of investing where people shop", says Jörg Bitzer, Managing Director of Redevco Central Europe in Vienna.
