During these days, Realtex Moscow - an official event of the Moscow City Government - will be staged for the 11th time. Over the years, Realtex Moscow has gained significant importance and is now Russias leading international trade fair for real estate, investments & construction development.

Alongside the exhibition, Realtex Moscow offers participants a parallel programme that is unique on the Russian real estate market.

Professional business programme meets high demands
Due to the variety of topics, the extensive conference programme of Realtex meets the demands of professionals from all real estate industry sectors.
The Investors Day with international participation features round table discussions, an investors dialogue, an architecture dialogue and an open forum for investors and developers.
Apart from round table discussions, the Commercial Real Estate Day consists of a practical seminar. Topics covered include: Office Real Estate, Retail Real Estate, Industrial Real Estate, Warehouse Real Estate and - for the first time - Logistic Centres and Hotel Real Estate.

Exhibition with special focus on international residential real estate
Companies and institutions from 13 countries have already confirmed their participation in Realtex Moscow 2006. These countries are: Austria, Bulgaria, Germany, Greece, Latvia, Portugal, Russia, Spain, Switzerland, South Africa, Turkey, UAE and USA.
One of the highlights of the exhibition is the special focus on second homes. Russians are showing increased interest and demand in residential real estate abroad because they consider it as an excellent investment opportunity.
Already in 2005 the market segment of international residential real estate was a main attraction at Realtex. Because of the high demand, a part of the exhibition will this year be especially dedicated to second homes, explains Kristof Szymoniuk, Executive Director of MSI Fairs & Exhibitions, the Vienna-based organiser of Realtex.

Promising market development
It is not only the international residential real estate section that is very popular among Russians. The Russian real estate market generally is booming.
The Moscow City Government strongly supports international real estate companies in order to encourage the development of the real estate business in the Russian capital. Its aim is to make Moscow the economic centre of Eastern Europe. Administrative barriers have been removed through new legal and economic settings, attracting more and more businesses to invest in Russian

real estate. This policy has lead to an ongoing improvement and expansion of the citys infrastructure and the development of new business areas within a modernised environment.
In addition, rising spending power due to 6% economic growth p.a. is not just noticeable in Moscow, but also felt in other Russian regions. As a result there is increasing demand for retail premises and the real estate market is quickly developing all over Russia.
