Realkapital Partners appoints PAMERA to manage its assets in Germany (NO/DE)

The Norwegian fund manager Realkapital Partners AS, Oslo, has mandated PAMERA Asset Management GmbH, Frankfurt am Main, with the asset management of a German real estate portfolio.

The portfolio comprises three commercial properties with a total area of around 25,000 m²: the office buildings Spaldingtor in Hamburg and Solitaire in Frankfurt am Main as well as the Leine-Forum in Laatzen near Hanover. The properties were acquired by Realkapital on behalf of the real estate investment fund Realkapital European Opportunity (REO) in 2007 and 2008.

Marcus Kruus, Partner and Portfolio Manager at Realkapital: "With PAMERA, we are confident to have found the right partner for the asset and leasing management of our properties in Germany. We have actively worked together to increase the efficiency of the asset management related working processes between us as the fund manager, PAMERA as our asset manager and the local property managers, and are pleased with the current leasing activities in our German real estate portfolio.

"We believe that Germany will continue to be one of the European powerhouses going forward, and expect a steady GDP growth during 2011 and 2012, leading gradually to higher demand from corporate occupiers for office space."

Within the scope of the asset management mandate, PAMERA is responsible for the leasing, reporting and disposition activities of the portfolio. A few weeks ago, the asset manager announced the relocation of the headquarters of real estate portal immonet.de to Spaldingtor in Hamburg, taking up 3,000 m² of space. Since starting asset management activities for Realkapital, PAMERA has leased around 5,000 m² in the three properties.
