Razvan Sin is DTZ Echinox's new Head of Retail Department (RO)

Razvan joined DTZ at the beginning of 2007 and over the last three years has significantly contributed to the development and coordination of DTZ's exclusive and non-exclusive commercial projects portfolio, working with clients such as Atrium Centers, Plaza Centers, Belrom, and Argo Capital Property.

Some of Razvan's most representative achievements are the leasing of an exclusive modern shopping center project of 30,000 m² GLA, developed by Atrium Centers in Arad; advising the retail park developer Belrom for signing leases with furniture and home decorations retailers for over 20,000 m² GLA; and advising Argo Capital Property for signing leases with fashion brand New Yorker and home decoration retailer Proges in Shopping City Suceava and Shopping City Sibiu.

Razvan graduated from the Faculty of International Business within the "Babes-Bolyai" University, Cluj-Napoca and spent two years in franchise management in New Hampshire, USA and another two years coordinating the marketing of an FMCG company.

With Razvan's support, DTZ Echinox aims to continue consolidating its position on the retail market, capitalizing on the expertise and the capabilities of the senior retail team, specialized in consultancy and brokerage, for both shopping center and high street segments.

"Despite the slower pace of new developments and the decrease of retail consumption levels, I believe that we are reaching a point today from which we can successfully evolve and that we are ready for a sustainable, concerted growth. There are still some important cities which don't have enough modern retail schemes and numerous international retailers interested in Romania, on medium and long term." declared Razvan Sin, Head of Retail Department, DTZ Echinox.

"It gives us great satisfaction to see how the team we have created develops and generates new leaders. The new market conditions have challenged us to be creative in order to better fulfill our clients' expectations and proved there is a massive potential to be exploited in ourselves, as a team, as well as in the exterior environment. The staff changes that we have been operating lately represent a natural step in adapting to the ever-changing circumstances.

Aura Voiculescu, the consultant in charge of the retail department over the last year and a half, has decided to take a break from the professional life in order to study abroad, in a superior business school. Though we regret her departure from DTZ's family, we are happy every time one of our colleagues decides to take a step forward in the personal development," said Oana Iliescu, Joint Managing Director, DTZ Echinox.
