Quintain appoints Tom Cross Brown as Non-Executive Director (UK)

The Board of Quintain Estates and Development PLC has appointed Tom Cross Brown as a non-executive director with immediate effect. On joining the Board, Tom Cross Brown will serve as an independent member of the Audit, Donations, Nominations, Remuneration and Risk Committees.

From 2000 to 2003, Tom Cross Brown (aged 57) was Global Chief Executive Officer of ABN AMRO Asset Management. Before that, between 1997 and 2000, he had been Chief Executive Officer of ABN AMRO Asset Management in the UK and Global Head of Business Development. Prior to joining ABN AMRO, Tom spent 21 years at Lazard Brothers & Co. and was Chief Executive of Lazard Brothers Asset Management Limited between 1994 and 1997.

Tom Cross Brown is currently a non-executive director of Pearl Group Limited and Artemis Investment Management Limited and non-executive Chairman of ABN AMRO GSTS Limited. He is a Member of the Advisory Council of the AIMR-Insead Global Investors Workshop for Europe. Previously, he was a non-executive director for Whitegate Leisure (1987-1991) and Chairman of the Lazard Property Unit Trust (1994-1997).

No further details remain to be disclosed as required under chapter 16.4 of the FSA Listing Rules.
