Protego Real Estate Investors has announced that it has appointed Alexandra McGhee as Associate - Business Development. McGhee will be based in London but will cover products in the UK as well as international markets.
Alexandra McGhee will be working in the new business development team at Protego. Her responsibilities will include the identification of new business opportunities for Protego clients, primarily in the form of funds, but also to include real estate structured products. Once the product has been identified and approved, she will oversee its implementation, in terms of structuring from a legal and tax prospective, as well as the marketing of the product to existing or prospective clients of Protego.
McGhee joins from Bank of Scotland's Integrated Finance team, London, which is a leading provider of debt and equity funding in support of mid market transactions, having recently completed the management buyout of Lambert Smith Hampton Group. Prior to this, she worked at Henderson Global Investors as Finance Manager to its Pan-European Retail Property Fund, a €1-billion fund, which invests in commercial retail property fund across Europe.
McGhee qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 2001, and is a member of the ICAEW.
