Property Invest Real Estate Funds welcomes Bouwfonds Asset management as new shareholder

Property Invest announced at MIPIM in Cannes that Bouwfonds Asset Management, a subsidiary of Bouwfonds from Hoevelaken, will become a new shareholder of Property Invest. Both parties have agreed in principle about the terms and conditions.

Bouwfonds acquired its share in Property Invest Holding for an undisclosed amount.
Property Invest now has two shareholders besides the current management: Bouwfonds Asset Management and Trimp & van Tartwijk Property Performance, which has been shareholder from the start.The addition of Bouwfonds as a shareholder further enhances the stability of Property Invest.

In the coming months Property Invest will market its first Fund for professional investors. Bouwfonds Asset Management will act as the Lead Investor and will invest approximately € 20 million in the Fund. The Fund seeks € 160 million in capital commitments. Property Invest targets Dutch real estate projects to which it can add value through several proactive asset management strategies.
