Prominent participants at EXPO REAL (DE)

Whether as a speaker in the programme of conference events or a location representative, once again this year's EXPO REAL (23 - 25 October 2006) will feature prominent representatives of the international commercial and political sectors. Erwin Huber, Bavarian Minister for Economic Affairs, will open EXPO REAL on October 23rd together with Moscow's Lord Mayor Yuri Luzhkov.

TV correspondent Brigitte Bastgen and Bill Kistler, President of the Urban Land Institute (ULI) Europe, will discuss the topic of "Cities in Competition - Rolling out the Red Carpet for Investors?", among other things with the Deputy Mayor of Rotterdam, the Mayor in charge of Urban Planning and Property Management of the city of Helsinki, the Building Director of the city of Hamburg and the President and CEO of Tishman Speyer in New York.

The experts participating in "Trouble in the City - Where is the glue that's holding everything together?" include the Head of Sustainable Development at Newcastle City Council, the Head of the Municipal Planning and Building Control Office of the city of Munich, and the Head of the Institute for Recreation and Tourism Research in Vienna.
