ProLogis, a leading global provider of distribution facilities and services, announced today that it has entered into three new leases totalling 15,300 m2 of distribution space in Poznan, Poland.
ITM Baza Poznanska, a French hypermarket group, Intier Automotive Seating GmbH, a leading supplier of complete vehicle interior systems, and JAS FBG, a customs agency distributor, will each occupy space in ProLogis Park Poznan under the new leases.
ProLogis Park Poznan is strategically located on the E30 Highway near Poznan, a vital gateway to greater Poland and Eastern Europe. Under two of the leases, ITM Baza Poznanska is leasing 103,279 square feet (9,595 m2) and Intier Automotive Seating GmbH is taking 48,534 square feet (4,509 m2) of distribution space. Colliers International and CB Richard Ellis represented ProLogis on these two transactions. Under the third lease, JAS FBG is leasing 12,873 square feet (1,196 m2) of distribution space, doubling the space it currently leases in the facility for a combined total of 25,747 square feet (2,392 m2).
'The steady growth of ProLogis Park Poznan represents our increasing presence in key distribution locations throughout Eastern Europe,' said Hans A. van Luijken, first vice president for ProLogis. 'The prime location and state-of-the-art amenities of this distribution park will enable our customers to optimize their distribution requirements.'
ProLogis currently owns one building in ProLogis Park Poznan consisting of 210,057 square feet (19,515 m2) and also leases space in the building to Warkom, a logistics company serving supermarkets throughout Poland.
