Prologis announces Dennis de Vreede to join the company as new European Finance Director (NL)

Prologis, Inc., the leading owner, operator and developer of global industrial real estate, has announced the appointment of Dennis de Vreede as Senior Vice President, European Finance Director for Prologis.

In his new role, de Vreede will head up the European finance team, both in the local European markets and at Prologis' European headquarters in Amsterdam. His responsibilities include corporate accounting, financial planning & analysis, treasury, tax and compliance, as well as corporate services.

Having spent four years as chief financial officer at Redevco, Dennis brings with him a wealth of industry and financial experience that will be invaluable to Prologis as we continue to optimise our business and develop our European platform.

Dennis is the ideal candidate to head up our European finance team and I am confident that he will be an excellent asset to Prologis," added Dunne.

De Vreede joins Prologis from Redevco, one of the largest retail real estate developers and managers in Europe, where he held the position of chief financial officer from December 2007 to September 2011. In this role, he was responsible for all finance, tax, legal and IT matters.

Prior to Redevco, de Vreede served as global finance director at Rockwell Automation Inc. Previously he served as vice president finance for telecommunications venture KPNQwest N.V. In addition, he gained mergers & acquisitions experience at Dresdner Kleinwort Benson in London. He started his career in 1993 with KPMG in the Netherlands.

De Vreede earned a Bachelors of Economics from The Hague University of Applied Sciences. He received a Masters in Accountancy and graduated as a registered accountant from Nyenrode Business University in The Netherlands. He is an alumnus of Harvard Business School after successfully completing several Executive Education programs, a member of NivRA, the Royal Netherlands Institute of Registered Accountants, and the Controller's Institute of The Netherlands.
