Professionals meet at the Second German Real Estate Forum (DE)

On 15 November 2006, during the Euro Finance Week, important decision-makers in the German and the international real estate scene will meet academics and political representatives for strategy discussions, benchmarking, the exchange of best practice experience and networking. The Central Real Estate Committee (Zentralen Immobilienausschuss, "ZIA") and Heidrick & Struggles are organizing the Top Management Congress for the German real estate sector, the Second German Real Estate Forum.

Both organizations have succeeded in attracting numerous renowned experts for this event, both from Germany and abroad. Werner Knips (Heidrick & Struggles) initiated the "Future Initiative" which is now a part of ZIA and up and running. It works on topics such as "Where will the German Real Estate Market stand in 5,10,15 years?" and "What are the challenges?". The conference stands in relation to the ZIA and this Working Group - ZIA will pick up on the results produced at the conference (all sessions are recorded!) and will work with them, take them further.

In Panel Workshops, real estate experts will have the opportunity to ask questions and discuss the subjects with the speakers in detail. In conclusion, the presenters will summarise the results in the plenum. A group of experts in the ZIA will then concentrate on the theories in detail in the forthcoming few months. Through this process, the Congress makes a productive contribution to the approaching structural change in Germany and towards actively shaping the future.

In addition, a special forum will be organized to make contacts: the Networking Arena offers professionals the opportunity to meet numerous interesting people in the sector in brief discussions.
