Global Development announces the finishing stage of its PRIME Business Park’s re-construction. This four buildings project located in the heart of Almaty, at Furmanov Street, has been completely re-constructed and re-commercialized. This new complex offers everything that is required by the TOP world companies: prestigious location, best quality office premises and the neighborhood of international companies.
PRIME Business Park is comprised of four reconstructed buildings with a height of 3 to 5 floors and total area of 16,000 m² GBA. The tenants have at their disposal almost 13,500 m² of office space and 130 parking places. The reconstruction works started in April 2014 and completion of all four stages of the investment is scheduled for November 2014.
PRIME Business Park offers B+ class office space, required by clients from all the sectors, including companies from the finance and banking industry, construction, logistics, consulting FMCG and others. All the buildings are equipped with all the facilities expected of this office building class, including UPS, a reserve power generator, individually controlled air conditioning, fast cabling structure with plenty of quality internet providers, as well as access control, intruder alarm, fire alarm and CCTV systems. 24/7 security is provided by G4S, the biggest security services provider in the world. This, along with an extensive offer for tenants, should guarantee long-term success.
Lukasz Skowronski, Commercial Director of Global Development, said: "Our experience in the office sector can be confirmed by such successful investments as Park View Office Tower located in PRIME’s closest neighbourhood. We are present on the Kazakh office market not only in Almaty, but also in Astana and Kokshetau, having a portfolio comprising nine business centers with almost 55,000 m² GBA under our management. We believe that devoting our energy and passion to the commercial real estate will result not only in financial success, but in the long-lasting improvement of the quality of the service and local market’s condition".
Setting up the idea of “Business Park” in Kazakhstan was a response to the client’s needs. Each block is a specific building with its unique façade and interiors. Two blocks are occupied by a single tenant, Forte Bank. Third block is shared floor by floor by DHL, The Trade and Tourism Section of the Embassy of Malaysia, Interoil Holding and Imperial Tobacco, who has just signed the lease agreement and will complete the tenant-mix. The last, fourth block, which has been refurbished at first, offers office premises starting from 50 m² and has already been chosen by companies such a Turkish Airlines, Thomson Reuters, Motorola, Roche, Orange Business Services, Otto Group and many others. The official presentation of the Forte Bank’s office buildings took place on the 19th of November and this event finalized Global Development’s plans for 2014 - receiving 100% occupancy rate.
Global Development, one of the biggest landlords in Kazakhstan, is mainly known for Park View Office Tower awarded as “The Best Grade-A Office Building in Kazakhstan” during last Commercial Real Estate Week, an annual event held in Astana. Now the company is looking forward to receive further awards for its business centers. “Development is not only the part of our company’s name. It is also our company’s mission. Completing this project confirmed that we are interested in bringing the best practice to Kazakh market and then to offer it to all of our Partners. We are proud to re-create a unique object which features modern interior design and a functional layout as well as the most safety conditions to run our tenants business”, concluded Lukasz Skowronski.
