Poznan City Center by TriGranit Development in high demand (PL)

Poznan City Center, one of the largest new retail developments in Poland being developed by joint venture partners TriGranit Development Corporation, Europa Capital and Polskie Koleje Panstwowe S.A, has received a high level of interest from retailers, with 25 tenants signing leases for the project over the last 30 days.

The Poznan City Center project is a €250 million investment.


The project, which is set to open in the fourth quarter of 2013, is already 55% leased to a roster of tenants including major local and international brands such as Toys'R'Us, Piotr i Pawel, Cubus, Rossmann, Douglas, Benetton, Puma and Nordsee. Advanced negotiations are currently being held with the remaining anchor retailers, with some expected to open their first stores in the city at the Poznan City Center development.

The Poznan City Center project is a €250 million investment of 150,000 m² (GBA) and 60,000 m² (GLA). This integrated transport hub and shopping center, will include 250 retail units, a PKS coach terminal with 19 bus platforms as well as a park & ride car park facility for public transport commuters and 1,500 parking spaces. The Poznan Glowny Railway Station, the first phase of the project, opened its doors for passengers on May 29, 2012.

TriGranit Development has been strongly devoted to the Polish market for more than a decade. Local expertise was obtained first at Silesia City Center in Katowice, followed by Bonarka City Center and the B4B office park in Krakow.
