Promotor Nexity and the Icade Group are reported to be in touch regarding a possible takeover. The board of directors of Nexity would neither confirm nor deny these rumors.
Guy Bernfeld, responsible for the real estate subsidiary no. 2 of the Icade Group, told Immo Hebdo that there is no question of talks with Nexity. The Icade Group has ambitions to become the number 1 in the real estate industry in France. “From that point of view we are strategically looking at in which way industrial and financial players could be interesting for us and checking out acquisition possibilities”, according to Guy Bernfeld.
