PointPark Properties (P3) is pleased to announce that construction has commenced on a new 25,000-m² warehouse facility. This significant Build-To-Suit project is taking place at PointPark Bratislava situated just 15 km from the D2 highway to the Czech Republic, with excellent access to Austria and Hungary.
"We chose PointPark Bratislava because of its readiness for construction and building delivery in a very short period of time and due to the unique location, just 12 km from the Volkswagen plant," says Peter Stief, Managing Director CEE of Schnellecke.
Schnellecke Slovakia is a 3PL company and a member of the Schnellecke Group, a German international operating logistics services provider and automotive industry supplier with more than 1,000,000 m² of production and warehouse space at over 40 company sites worldwide.
"The agreement with Schnellecke expands our portfolio of significant clients in PointPark Bratislava and confirms the attractiveness of the park. The park already accommodates CEE distribution centers for prestigious tenants such as Whirlpool, Möbelix, Brightpoint and IHLE. In addition, the park offers warehouse solutions for production and assembly companies such as HBPO," says Pavol Podskoc, P3 Head of Development.
PointPark Bratislava has a total lettable area potential of more than 196,000 m² and offers a further 87,000 m² space for four new buildings.
"We are now in the process of implementing ground works for a further two Build-To-Suit buildings in order to increase flexibility and shorten delivery times for new buildings. We believe that our portfolio of clients will continue to expand," adds Nad'a Kovacikova, P3 Leasing Manager.
