Planner Exhibitions unveils plans for SIMApro

SIMApro, the professional event held in parallel to SIMA, will take place from May 30 to June 1st in North Convention Center – Feria de Madrid, bringing together once again they key players of the Spanish real estate industry to analyze its present and future. 

 

“In this edition, we have decided to take a step forward and give more autonomy and more content to SIMApro that, without ceasing to be SIMA’s professional event, will gain more character and its own identity. In reality, SIMApro was already operating as an independent exhibition with a particular dynamic. This is more about a necessary evolution with the aim of having a more active and flexible tool for a better understanding of the new reality of the Spanish real estate industry,” says Eloy Bohua, general director of Planner Exhibitions, organizing company of SIMA exhibitions.

 

The 2018 edition of Real Estate Conference is built around the following 4 subjects: demography and housing, the need to have a legal framework that reduces free interpretation and facilitates the development of articulated urbanism, the global trends that are conditioning real estate financing and finally, the identification of the values that the industry must introduce in its daily operations to add social value to its environment.

 

One of the first novelties of the 2018 SIMApro edition, is SIMAtech, which will be held during the afternoons of May 30 and 31, and will focus its debates and roundtables on the revolution of technology innovations (known as proptech) and how they are already affecting the residential market, particularly, the real estate industry.

 

The Investment Forum on Spanish Real Estate taking place during the morning of May 31 will analyze the situation and investment perspectives in the different real estate segments, as well as the changes in the pattern of investors and investments and the accelerators and brakes of the investment in the real estate sector.

 

Another novelty for the professional program this year, Iberian Second Home Summit taking place this may 31, will discuss the profound changes in the marketing for residential tourism. Among other key topics for tourist housing market, Iberian Second Home will analyze new technologies, the influence of Brexit in British buyers, and offer analysis of main destinations in Spain and Portugal.

 

And finally, Inmonext which will be held on June 1, will analyze the last sales trends in the real estate industry with a dynamic format of 15-minute sessions.
