Drs Paul Rutte will join NS Real Estate from 1 June onwards. As Director Development he will get the responsibility for all real estate developments of the Nederlandse Spoorwegen (Dutch Railways). He will take over the position from Maurtis Klaren and Willem van Zijl who have filled the position on a temporary basis. Both Klaren and Van Zijl will leave NS Real Estate. Rutte has worked at development company MAB since 1999.
NS Real Estate developes and exploits buildings and areas surrounding railwaystations. The real estate department of Nederlandse Spoorwegen has 150 employees, of which 45 work for the Development department.
