Panattoni to invest €20 million euros in Krásno Industrial park (SK)

One of the largest industrial property developers expands in Slovakia. Panattoni Europe is prepared to invest up to €20 million in the industrial park in Krásno nad Kysucou. The aim is to bring back to life the premises of a former industrial sawmill that have been left in a state of decay for several years.

"Krásno nad Kysucou is a newly found gem among industrial parks," mentioned Klára Fritsch, Corporate and Sales Director. "Krásno is located in the middle between Hyundai and KIA plants, so it is logical that it will focus mainly on the automotive industry or precision engineering. Krásno, as the only park in the region, offers 50,000 m² of space in two industrial halls with superior quality equipment."

"We are prepared to invest up to €20 million in Krásno," emphasises Milan Kratina, Managing Partner, Accolade holding. "We presume that up to 500 new jobs could be created." "About one million people live within a commutable distance around Krásno, including 70,000 unemployed. I believe that many of these people will find a new job in Panattoni Park in Krásno," says Jozef Grapa, Mayor of Krásno nad Kysucou.

"Panattoni belongs among the largest industrial developers worldwide and therefore the zone in Krásno nad Kysucou will have an outstanding position compared with other industrial parks in Slovakia, as it will be able to use the connections of the global developer. Investors in Krásno nad Kysucou can draw a direct subsidy of up to €5,000 as an allowance for newly created jobs and they can also get as much as 31% of their original investment back in the form of an investment incentive," added Pavel Sovička, the Managing Director of Panattoni Europe in the Czech Republic.

Panattoni Europe offers two industrial parks in Slovakia - as Axa development partner in Trnava and newly also in Krásno nad Kysucou. In total, the company manages 160,000 m² of warehouse and manufacturing space within the area of the Czech Republic and Slovakia. Panattoni's portfolio comprises over 1.6 million m² of industrial spaces within the territory of Poland, the Czech Republic and Slovakia. The Accolade Group in cooperation with Panattoni Europe offer seven industrial parks in the Czech Republic and Slovakia.
