Panattoni Europe, the leader of Poland's warehouse space sector, is planning to enter the retail property market in Poland. The scope of operations of the newly opened unit will include investments in facilities dedicated to retail sales. The Panattoni Europe team has been joined by Andrzej Lasocki, who will occupy the position of Retail Development Director.
Panattoni Europe's entry into the retail property market stems from the developer's growth strategy, including the intention to expand its offer in Poland as well as mark its presence in the property sector, which is highly developed in other global markets.
According to Robert Dobrzycki, Panattoni's Managing Partner for Central and Eastern Europe: "The emergence of a new business unit is a sign of diversification of our operations in Poland. We will rely on our previous development experience as well as resort to the support of high-class professionals. That is why we have welcomed on board a new specialist in this field Andrzej Lasocki, who will lead this new business segment retail investments."
Andrzej Lasocki has been involved in the property market since 1997. He gained his professional experience working for some of the biggest developers in Poland: Echo Investment, Dom Development, and most recently as Investments Director at the Irish investment group Caelum Development. Under his belt, he has got over 20 transactions of land acquisition for the purposes of developing retail facilities, hotels and residential buildings, to the total value in excess of 100 M PLN. In addition, he managed the development and implementation of over a dozen development projects worth over 800 M PLN, located throughout Poland. He graduated from the Faculty of Management at the Cracow Academy of Economics (now University of Economics). He has also completed a series of trainings and courses related to project management, negotiations and due diligence processes. At Panattoni Europe he will occupy the position of Retail Development Director.
