Panattoni Europe enters Slovakia (SK)

Panattoni Europe, one of the leading industrial developers in Poland, actively operating in the Czech Republic, has entered the Slovak market. The company was invited to take part in the project of developing Trnava Industrial Park, located next to the Peugeot - Citroen plant.

After achieving 45% market share in Poland, Panattoni Europe accelerated its expansion on neighboring markets. In H1.2009 Panattoni's Czech branch signed new lease contracts for an area of 35,000 m², while the developer's key investment in the Czech Republic, Panattoni Park Prague Airport, has been almost fully leased. After successes in Poland and the Czech Republic, Panattoni Europe is entering the Slovak market.

AXA REIM has invited Panattoni Europe to work as developer of the site. The property is a modern tailor-made industrial and logistics center, located in a strategic point in the Western part of the country. The park is located ca. 1km from the E75 motorway exit (Bratislava - Zilina), near the PSA factory (Peugeot - Citroen) with easy access to national and international routes. The close vicinity to Bratislava ensures access to a qualified labor force.

Currently the park holds more than 50,000 m² of developed industrial A class space, with a plan to expand it by another ca 130,000 m². Panattoni offers build-to-suit units ranging from 2,000 m², meeting the needs of the customers with different shapes and sizes. The existing infrastructure, prepared land for construction and building permits will enable delivering the premises within 6-8 months as of the date of contract conclusion. The current tenants of the park and well-known production and logistics are companies such as: Faurecia, Calberson, Inergy, Streit, Gefco, ABB, Sofitec, Premier, Datalogic and Plastic Omnium.
