Panattoni Europe develops a logistics center in Heilbronn (DE)

Panattoni Europe, provider of comprehensive distribution center development services, is developing a new logistics center in Bad Rappenau, Baden-Württemberg, with a total space of 25,500 m². The customer for whom the facility is being developed is Faurecia, one of the world's largest suppliers for the automotive industry.
By entering into a long-term lease, Faurecia wishes to establish itself firmly in this location of high logistic utility in the region. The new facility, boasting direct access to the A6 motorway, will be working round-the-clock. It comprises 23,500 m² of warehouse space and some 2,000 m² of office space. Construction works are set to commence soon and completion is planned for the coming August. Currently Panattoni is also expanding Faurecia's existing production building in Gorzów Wielkopolski, in Poland by another 12,000 m².
Panattoni Europe is investing a large, eight-digit figure into building the logistics facility, in line with the strategy of increasing its business presence in Germany by developing customised projects. "On the one hand, we can make the most of our property expertise for our customers, while on the other we are offering, as part of our global Panattoni platform, structures that are highly efficient in business terms. With this combination, we are able to create lasting competitive advantage for our customers' business models", believes Fred Markus Bohne, Managing Partner Panattoni Europe.
