The ceremony took place on November 4, 2010 at the development site, 8 km from Rzeszów, in Glogów Malopolski commune. The attendees included: Podkarpackie Voivode – Miroslaw Karapyta, Marshal of the Podkarpackie Voivodeship – Zygmunt Cholewinski, Director of the Special Economic Zone Euro-Park Mielec – Mariusz Blêdowski, President of the Board of Zelmer S.A. – Janusz Plocica and the investment's developer – Panattoni Europe, represented by Robert Dobrzycki – Managing Partner for Central and Eastern Europe.

The foundation charter immured in the stone, undersigned by top city officials as well as the developer and the investor, was blessed by the Bishop of Rzeszów Kazimierz Górny.

President of Zelmer S.A. Group, Janusz Plocica said: "Growing production, alongside an expanding scale of business and dynamic expansion into international markets, all contribute to a systematic growth of sales. The new factory and introduction of a modern industrial engineering system mark the next stage in the implementation of the Company's development strategy," adding: "I am glad that this investment can be developed at the place where Zelmer originated and to which it owes so much".

"This is the first time we have an opportunity to develop a facility in the Subcarpathian region, and also within an economic zone, meaning of course the dynamically growing Euro-Park Mielec," said Robert Dobrzycki, Managing Partner for Central and Eastern Europe, adding: "When we started talks on this investment as a developer, there was not a single finished building around the planned location. Nine months have passed and most lots are full. For us, it is a positive sign that Special Economic Zones will very soon become significant markers of market growth, especially in the context of the industrial property sector."

The new investment will consist of three areas: production (ca 17,500 m²), warehouse (11,000 m²) and office space (4,000 m²). The total space of the facility covers ca 32,500 m². The facility will have new technological installations, which will be responsible for power management. Thanks to them it will be possible to carry out a recuperation process, i.e. retrieve thermal energy, used for heating the facility.

Panattoni Europe's BTS in Rzeszów is a modern industrial park located in Rogoznica and Wola Cicha, in the Glogów Malopolski municipality - 8 km north of the center of Rzeszów, 200 m from the railway station, in close vicinity to Road no. 9 Radom-Rzeszów, 600 m from the A4 'Rzeszów Centralny' node and 4 km from the Rzeszów Jasionka
